Aker Arctic has developed an Antarctic Logistics Vessel concept ARC 133 for the Argentine Navy. The vessel will be used mainly for transporting equipment and researchers to Argentina’s Antarctic base, as well as for research purposes.
Tandanor Shipyard and Aker Arctic have signed an agreement on developing the basic engineering design of a new polar vessel for Argentina. The project officially kicked off in Buenos Aires in May 2022.
